Smoker Fight 5 and KillerBee 2011: the Interview

Last Thursday February 24, 2011 was a blast. MMA Davao got invited to KillerBee (one of the top FM radio stations in Davao City) for a short interview with Rod Rodriguez and Chris "the face towel king" Fox. We were promoting the upcoming Smoker Fight Event come this Sunday at Almendras gym Feb 27, 2011 at 4:00pm. And man, that was a blast these guys were cool. They made the interview session as smooth as you can think of. It was a breeze, they made it easy for me and as comfortable as it can be. Kudo's to the guys and if you want to hear what happened just listen to the audio and enjoy. Shout to my sis, Shimi for making this interview possible and to her BF H.S. haha (did not ask them yet if its ok to post their names here in the blog.)

2011 PHILIPPINE BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU Gi & No Gi International Open Competition :

Cenojas MMA/Kamphuis-Fabricio Davao got 7 GOLD and 2 Silver. The participants were from Borneo, Guam, Korea, Singapore, Sweden, China, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.

1st Day : with-GI
Mike Lim (13 y.o) - over 55 kgs. Kid's Division - GOLD
Marc Lim (13 y.o) - under 70 kgs. Junior' Div. - GOLD
Jonathan "Spartan" Sumogat ( 19 y.o) - 64 kgs. Junior's Div. - GOLD
Jonathan "Spartan" Sumogat - 57 kgs. Men's Div. - GOLD
Spartan Sumogat - Absolute Division - SILVER

2nd Day : No-GI
Spartan Sumogat (19 y.o) - 72 kgs. Junior's Div. - GOLD
Spartan Sumogat - 55 kgs. Men's Div. - GOLD
Marc Lim ( 13 y.o) - 66 kgs. Juniors - GOLD
Mike Lim ( 13 y.o) - 61 kgs. Juniors - SILVER.
