Smoker Fight 3 NCCC Mall

Better late than never. Last month was a month full of activities here in Davao City. Especially in the world of martial arts. First of all it was the the annual festival of festivals here in Davao,
The KADAYAWAN Festival. A Festival where local and foreign tourists can witness the bounty of fruits. The festival honors Davao’s artistic, cultural and historical heritage, its past personified by the ancestral “lumads”, its people as they celebrate on the streets, and its floral industry as its representatives parade in full regalia in thanksgiving for the blessings granted on the city. A celebration that interfaces the three aspects: tribal; industrial and; arts and entertainment. The festivities are highlighted with floral floats, street-dancing competitions and exhibits that showcases the island's tourism products and services. Its one of the reasons why I was not able to write anything for the past several weeks.

Part of the Festivities was the Smoker Fight 3 entitled Blood Kompak, August 20, 2010.
This time we added a mixed martial arts competition. This third smoker fight was a joint effort between the Davao's Finest Tattoo artists, and Top Rock and reggae bands. It was a Tattoo Festival wherein artists from everywhere in Pinas gathered to compete and after which the culmination was the smoker fight backed up by the top bands rock/metal/reggae bands here in Davao.
